MyBibleKit Privacy Policy

Bible reading, study, and quiz features with local-first study data.

Effective date: September 6, 2026

Information We Collect

MyBibleKit does not require sign-in and does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, address, contacts, photos, precise location, or payment information.

Study information such as bookmarks, highlights, notes, reading position, quiz answers, quiz progress, app theme, and reader text-size settings is stored locally on your device. This local study data is not uploaded or synced by MyBibleKit.

If you choose to report a quiz question, MyBibleKit sends the question ID, question text, reference, your written report, app version, and limited technical metadata needed for abuse prevention. The report form does not ask for your email address.

How We Use Information

Local study data is used only to make app features work on your device, such as restoring your reading position, showing saved verses, and remembering your display preferences.

Quiz question reports are used to review potentially incorrect, unclear, repeated, or incomplete quiz content and to improve MyBibleKit.

Technical metadata for reports may be used to limit spam or abuse. Raw IP addresses are not stored by the app database; the report system may store a one-way hash for rate limiting.

Sharing and Service Providers

MyBibleKit does not sell personal information.

Published quiz content and submitted question reports are handled through Supabase, which acts as a backend service provider for the app.

Question reports are stored in Supabase so the developer can review potentially incorrect, unclear, repeated, or incomplete quiz content.

Security

Network requests made by MyBibleKit use HTTPS where supported by the service provider.

Question reports are written through a server-side function instead of allowing direct public database writes. The report table is protected with Row Level Security and is not directly readable by anonymous app users.

Retention and Deletion

Local study data remains on your device until you delete it in the app, clear app storage, or uninstall MyBibleKit.

Question reports may be retained while they are needed to review and fix quiz content. To request deletion of a report you submitted, contact the developer and include the approximate submission time and question reference so the report can be located.

Children

MyBibleKit does not knowingly request personal information from children and does not include targeted advertising.

If a parent or guardian believes a child submitted personal information through a question report, contact the developer so it can be reviewed and deleted where applicable.

Changes to This Policy

This privacy policy may be updated when MyBibleKit changes how it handles data, adds new third-party services, adds accounts, adds analytics, adds ads, or changes support/reporting behavior.

The updated date above will be changed when this page is revised.
